The College is established in 2012 and runs Bachelor programs in Arts and commerce disciplines. The present strength of the College students is 323. Umbarthan is town place in Surgana taluka, the smallest tahsil of Nashik district in Maharashtra.
It’s located at Maharashtra - Gujarat border and nearby it has Khandesh and North Maharashtra region. Umbarthan is a Gujarat - Maharashtra border line smallest but important market place for Aadivasi community. It is located 120 KM’s towards North from District headquarters Nashik.
Dang Seva Mandal is established by Voluntary worker Hon`ble Dadasaheb Bidkar in 1937 and working only in remote Adiwashi areas for Social education, information about laws, prohibition, awareness of ‘Swadeshi’ Movement, education of boys and girls, and such other programme were undertaken by the Mandal large numbers of educated Tribals / Aadivasis involved themselves in this work. In order to help the tribals in getting employment, the Mandal Established number of forest workers co-operative Societies helped not only in generating employment but also in making the Tribals ‘Aware’.
